This is an unusually beautiful highly-flamed Gibson L-5 Studio in a dripping sweet Autumnburst finish. Carved spruce top, maple body, 3-piece maple neck, Schaller tuners, two '57 Classic humbuckers, ebony fingerboard and bridge base, black binding, nickel hardware, icecube marble pickguard. Custom Shop logo on back of neck. OHSC. This '97 Custom Shop creation is in near mint condition.

Please note that the photos are a bit dark because I actually had to reduce the lighting in order to get the most accurate rendering. Except for the headstock, the colors on the back do not quite go to black. Rather, they burst to a very dark and sweet maple-syrupy brown, more like the colors in the first two pics. The white marks on the top, purple ghosts and other marks on the back are strictly from the photos, as the instrument is virtually new and unmarked.
