1997 Gibson ES-175D Reissue $2,995 SOLD!

1997 Gibson ES-175

An unusually beautiful (stunning, really), highly-flamed Gibson ES-175D archtop guitar, the de facto jazz standard, crafted with unusual care by Gibson's most skilled luthiers. Not your average '175, this guitar carries Gibson's list price of $6052, and is finished in exquisite "Antique Natural," the rarest and most expensive color in the ES-175 series. Maple top, back and sides, solid mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and bridge base, two '57 Classic humbuckers, white binding, nickel hardware. Includes original hardshell case with pink slip-liner.

Yes, the top and back are darker than the sides. Color rendition in this set of photos is quite accurate.

Gibson ES-175 Reissue

I purchased this guitar NEW from Sam Ash in January of 2000, as a personal player. Except for a couple of professional setups, it has never left my home.

This purchase includes all of the original paperwork including a transferrable LIFETIME WARRANTY AND SERVICE AGREEMENT, which includes four (4) setups per year, forever, at ANY Sam Ash. Not a bad thing...
